The NEMT & Private Ambulance Kiosk

Built for NEMT and private ambulance operators. A self-service terminal placed where patients actually need transport — the discharge lounge, the dialysis waiting room, the front desk. Ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher, BLS and ALS requests all book in under a minute and land straight in your dispatch system.

Build and deployment turnaround is typically 2-3 weeks. Contact us for pricing.

Standalone freestanding NEMT and private ambulance kiosk showing a live Florida GPS tracking map in a hospital lobby

Live GPS tracking

Every van and ambulance on one Florida map.

The kiosk screen and your dispatch board share the same live map. Wheelchair vans and ambulances report their GPS position continuously, so patients see a real ETA and dispatch sees the closest unit.

Why a kiosk

Capture the trip before the patient leaves the building.

Most non-emergency trips are lost on hold. A nurse calls three providers, the discharge stalls, and the ride goes to whoever picks up first. The kiosk puts your company at the point of discharge and turns a phone call into a two-minute self-service booking.

No hold time

Patients and staff book themselves instead of waiting on a dispatcher.

Cleaner intake

Level of service, payer and authorization are captured up front, not after the run.

Standing presence

Your brand sits in the facility lobby every day, not in a stack of business cards.

How it works

From screen tap to unit assigned.

  1. 01

Patient checks in at the kiosk

A discharging patient, family member or unit clerk taps the screen, enters the patient name or scans a discharge wristband, and confirms pickup location and destination.

  2. 02

    Level of service is set

The kiosk asks the questions that decide the vehicle: ambulatory, wheelchair, stretcher, bariatric, oxygen, isolation. That answer becomes the trip type your dispatcher sees.

  3. 03

    Eligibility and payer captured

Medicaid, managed care, private pay or facility account is selected at the kiosk, along with authorization or PCS numbers, so billing is not chasing paperwork after the run.

  4. 04

    Trip drops into dispatch

The request lands in the same dispatch board your crews already work from, timestamped and queued, with no phone call and no fax.

  5. 05

    Assignment and live ETA

Dispatch assigns a unit, the crew accepts on the driver app, and the kiosk prints or texts a confirmation with a live ETA and trip number.

  6. 06

    Closeout and record

Pickup, transfer of care and drop-off times are captured automatically and attached to the trip record for billing and facility reporting.

Dispatch integration

One queue for kiosk, app and phone trips.

The kiosk is a front door onto the same platform that runs your ambulance and NEMT dispatch. Nothing is re-keyed, and a kiosk trip is handled exactly like a call-in trip.

Same dispatch board

Kiosk trips appear alongside phone and app trips in one queue. Your dispatcher does not learn a second system.

Ambulance and air ambulance

Ground BLS, ALS and wheelchair runs route to your fleet. Long-distance and out-of-state requests can be flagged for air ambulance quoting.

Driver and crew app

Assignments push to the same rideshare-style crew app used for TNC and NEMT trips, with navigation, status buttons and signature capture.

Facility portal

Case managers get a web view of every kiosk trip from their building — status, ETA and history — without calling dispatch.

Billing handoff

Payer, authorization, mileage and time stamps export to your billing workflow so claims go out clean.

Standards-based hookups

Where a facility already runs a scheduling or EHR platform, trips can be exchanged through a secure API or HL7-style feed instead of manual entry.

Patient data

Built to be HIPAA-compliant, and we sign BAAs.

Kiosk requests can include patient names, appointment times, level of service and mobility or isolation needs. That is protected health information and it is handled as such.

The screen clears between users, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, access is role-based and every view and change is logged.

Where we host or process that data for you or the facility hosting the kiosk, we act as a Business Associate and execute a Business Associate Agreement before go-live.
