This policy explains what information we collect on thewolfoftransportation.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Site and to the appointment, quote and contact forms on it. It does not apply to the rider, driver, chauffeur or dispatch apps we build for clients. Those apps are published under the client’s name and are covered by the client’s own privacy policy and, where applicable, HIPAA notices.
1. What we collect
Information you give us. When you book an appointment, request a quote or send a message, we collect what you enter: name, company, phone number, email address, the service you are interested in, fleet size, timeline, and anything you type in the “tell us about your project” field.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting tools record your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and time of visit.
Cookies. We use essential cookies only. You can block cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work.
2. How we use it
- To schedule and hold your appointment and call you at the time you picked
- To prepare and send a quote or reply to your message
- To send you follow-up information about the service you asked about
- To run, secure and improve the Site
- To comply with law and enforce our terms
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising to third parties.
3. Calls and text messages
By submitting a form with your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you at that number about your request, including with automated or prerecorded messages. Consent is not a condition of doing business with us. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us on a call and we will stop.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers that run our Site, hosting, forms, scheduling and email. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Professional advisors such as attorneys and accountants, under confidentiality.
- Government or law enforcement when required by law, subpoena or court order.
- A successor if our business is sold or merged; your information would be handled under this policy or one at least as protective.
We do not share your information with our clients or with other consultants without your permission.
5. Retention
We keep form submissions and appointment records for 3 years, or longer if a matter is ongoing or the law requires it. Usage data is kept in aggregate.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access limits. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee against every breach.
7. Your choices
- Access or deletion. Email contact@thewolfoftransportation.com to see what we hold on you or ask us to delete it. We will respond within 30 days.
- Marketing. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Texts can be stopped with STOP.
- Do Not Track. Our Site does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
- California residents. You may request the categories of personal information we collected about you in the past year and ask that it be deleted. We do not sell personal information.
8. Children
The Site is for business customers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Links
The Site links to third-party sites (social media, our sister company Exit Biz Now, app stores). Their privacy practices are their own.
10. Changes
We will post any changes here with a new effective date. Material changes will be flagged on the Site for at least 30 days.
